The Art of Storytelling Workshop Button

I’m Rogue, an artist and storyteller with a passion for helping other creatives write the story that’s within their soul.

I know what it’s like to have a story within you that’s knocking at your brain and your heart to come out, but feeling like you lack the tools to craft that story into the one you actually want to write, and one people really want to read.

I know what it’s like to be scared you’ll fail and write a shitty story, with a dumb hero and an even worse villain. I’m writing a pirate graphic novel myself, and I’ve had all the same fears you have as a writer.

January 2021 found me stuck in bed, unable to create art for several weeks due to major knee surgery, but I was determined to use that time to master my craft. I enrolled in Masterclass, and began my deep dive into the art of storytelling.

I had been a writer all my life, and trained in the art of screenwriting, but what I learned from masters such as Neil Gaiman, Margaret Atwood, Joyce Carol Oates and Dan Brown changed my life, and my outlook on storytelling forever. It was a total transformation.

What my story has become as a result of what I’ve learned, and who I’ve become in the process, is the story I’ve been burning to write. And I want to help you do the same.

In these ninety-minute workshops, you will work with me 1:1 to enhance your story, in the ways that your story is asking to be worked with.

We’ll seal plot holes, reach deep into your characters’ souls and pull out their emotions to develop their character arc, and use elements of The Hero’s Journey to help them along their path. You’ll discover the power of research and how to use that to build a realistic, fascinating world that’s a character of its own. And, best of all, you’ll learn how to beat Writer’s Block for good.
